PC Games, a German website, has posted up an article about Hellgate London on their website, and while in German there is an interview with Bill Roper at the bottom of the page.
There is talk of Mythos and Hellgate and mentions pricing (which we now know) and the technologies of the game as well as how successful Bill thinks it will be.
Flagship Studios has announced the official subscription pricing for European customers on the official Hellgate: London website. Here’s the relevant snippet:

The Official Hellgate Korean Hanbiton website has updated their website with news of the Korean Beta (which if you remember got delayed for a while) as well with a massive collection of new screenshots, which look great mind you.
PlayHGL has also updated their site with this news as well as translating the beta infromation.
“HanbitSoft and Flagship Studios have agreed that Hellgate: London will be in closed beta by this September,” said Alex Kim, Chairman of HanbitSoft. “Hellgate: London is a high quality title and is already in good shape; completion is just ahead of us. Unless unexpected problems show up, the closed beta will go smoothly and be over shortly.”
Mr. Kim added, “We are truly sorry for the late start of this test, especially after having announced selected testers. HanbitSoft and Flagship Studios are doing their absolute best to provide you the highest quality gaming experience they can, and we will release a more specific schedule very soon.” Mr. Kim added that the localization process for Korea is almost at an end.
Primotechnology has posted up a list of the upcoming Game Studios and FSS makes it in at number two.
Why It Made The List: It’s tough being a brand new developer on the verge of your first release. Although, it’s a hell of a lot easier when you have the talent that Flagship Studios has.
The Hellgate London Alpha site has been updated with a sign up button like Mythos. While invites are not instantaneous, you can hope to get one in the near future.
I hate to cross-post the news between Hellgate Guru and Mythos Guru, but as most fans of Hellgate: London have an interest in Mythos, knowing this wouldn’t hurt!
Todays publish includes performance improvements that should help remedy town slowness specifically, but should help out elsewhere too. Some machines should get as much as a 50% increase in FPS! Other fixes in this publish include:
* Players don’t collide with one another in town, preventing the ‘clogs’ at the zone-in that we were seeing.
* Rend Flesh is much faster, and can strike multiple targets at once.
* Animation replacement for all females.
* Some texture seaming fixes for Female Human and Female Satyr to reduce/eliminate the faint line along their faces, and the rings of flesh around the shoulders. Oo la la!
* The Bug form should now work and close properly. It shouldn’t submit multiple times when closed and enter is pressed again. Our QA Department loves this fix!
* Some attempted fixes for the loading hang that some were seeing.
* Fixed weapon aiming! Sorry about that! *slaps forehead*.
Flagship Studios is offering fans of Hellgate: London the chance to participate in the closed beta test of the game.
According to the offer, anyone who purchases a Hellgate: London statue from Weta Collectibles between 15 – 31 August, will be offered a key to the closed beta test for Hellgate: London.
If you’re interested in taking advantage of this special offer, you can log onto www.wetanz.com and select any piece from the Hellgate: London statue range, which features the Hunter, Cabalist, Male Templar and Female Templar statues. Purchasers will then be asked via email ton cofirm whether they would like to take part in the Hellgate: London closed beta test.
This opportunity is only available for a short time so fans keen to get a sneak preview of the game are advised to get in quick, and it is only to customers who order via www.wetanz.com, so it’d be a good idea not to order a statue from Ebay or a third party.
Flagship’s Ivan Sulic sends us word that the official Hellgate: London, Flagship Studios and Mythos websites will be offline for the night. This also includes alpha and beta servers for Flagship’s respective titles.
Hey guys and gals,
Our web presence will be down for several hours tonight. Between 8:00PM and 12:00AM PST we’ll be taking all our servers offline for maintenance and improvement.
This means no FSS.com, HGL.com, Mythos.com, or even Mythos / HGL Alpha / Beta.
At a cursory glance of Flagship Studios’ Official Website, it appears that the site is not only operational at this time, but that it has also received a full makeover.
The site appears to be broken at this time, with missing graphics and some text out of alignment. It would appear that the webpage is still undergoing some development.
Update: The images have since been fixed.
In related news, it looks like the Careers page has been updated. If you have the skills they want and want a job at Flagship Studios, be sure to check it out here.
