South East Asia release date confirmed

IAH has just recently announced the release date for Hellgate London for South East Asia will be the same as the one for the US, on the 31st of October.

There was a press release by the IAH done yesterday which stated:

August 23rd, 2007. IAHGames today announced that Hellgate: London, the premier title from Flagship Studios, will start hitting retail stores in South East Asia on October 31st, 2007, the same day the title is released in North America. Gamers in South East Asia will be able to lay their hands on it to try it out first hand together with the gamers in North America. Said Roland Ong, CEO of IAHGames: “We are very proud that our One Market, One Asia strategy has resulted in a One Launch with Flagship Studios.”

Hellgate: London represents the next leap in the evolution of the action RPG genre, combining the depth and captivating gameplay of traditional RPGs with the visceral action of first-person shooters. The game is developed by the principal creators of the Diablo series.

“Announcing our official release date is a very exciting step for us,” said Bill Roper, CEO of Flagship Studios. “We┬┤re anxious to bring Hellgate: London to Southeast Asia with IAHGames and to get to know the passionate gamers there as well as we do in other parts of the world.”

Update: The official press release can be read here.

So there is something to gloat about for the SEA people over the people in Europe.

Now we know:
US: Oct 31st
SEA: Oct 31st
Aus: Nov 1st
EU: Nov 1st and Nov 2nd (different in parts of Europe)
Korea: Not yet announced by Hanbitsoft

China: Not yet announced by The9
Taiwan and Hong Kong: Not announced by GigaMedia
(note some publisher names may infact be the server people only so it may be Namco doing all the announcements)

Enjoy :)

    Hello,

You forgot there is another operator of “HELLGATE: London” in Taiwan and Hong Kong. I mean the one has a “foolish forecast“, GigaMedia.

And, We haven’t announced the release date yet.
